Today is Esher’s last day of Pre-preschool and Esher was extremely sad. He didn’t want to leave so he stayed for a bit helping Miss Anita clean-up.
He said good-bye to Miss Megan who was his personal evaluator for the semester. She was the one that gave us updates on his progress and tested him throughout the semester.
Miss Anita is the head teacher that he loves so much and talks about her all the time. She is the one he will miss the very most! We love Miss Anita because of the kindness and love she shows to each and every student.
When we finally did say good-bye Esher began to cry. He cried all the way home and kept asking when he would be able to see Miss Anita again. That whole day he was really sad and sang every single preschool song he has ever learned. He told me stories throughout the day of different things that would pop into his mind about his preschool year. He will be so happy when we see her again in 4 months.
Miss Anita sent them home with this adorable poem that really touched my heart, she is just so great!!!
Friendship
Once when you were only three,
A friendship grew with you and me
Now you’re forever in my heart,
Even though it’s time to part.
But I’ll be waiting by the door,
To meet again, because you’re four!
Remember as the summer goes,
That Miss Anita loves you so.
For friendships that begin at three,
Grow forever…. so it seems.
