The Amazing Race Begins

It is the 15th season of The Amazing Race…our favorite reality show ever!!!! We got Gary & Jo Ann hooked on it. Ryan & Danielle, who were already fans of it from the very beginning, Gary & Jo Ann and us always try to get together for the first episode and the last, at least!

 

Danielle made this incredible cake of the world for the occasion. Okay the cake was not just beautiful and very creative, but it tasted just incredible!!! I’m surprised that Ryan doesn’t weigh about 500 pounds by now! Danielle is just amazing and is a professional caterer so we always get to try something new and amazing when they come over for dinner. Seriously, you guys are the best and their baby Regan is just the cutest Gerber Baby ever!!

 

The Tippets For Dinner

We just absolutely love it when the Tippets come down to visit us. They don’t come down as often as we wish they could  but we love it when they do!!!

  

Tony is just so awesome because he will play the Wii with Esher most of the time he is here. Esher hardly has anyone to play with during the week. Daddy usually works too late and the girls and I just aren’t that into it. So I love it when Tony plays with him. He’ll still play even though Esher does win most of the games. Thanks Tony!!!

I love how family oriented the Wii is. I never wanted a game like this in our home but my awesome friend Jackie told me how great it was…I’m so glad she talked me into buying one.

 

Ian loves our airplane which always makes me feel better about returning my good vacuum for the airplane at Costco.

 

I just love Kelly and all of the inspirational things she always has to share with me and teach me about.

 

Leatherby’s

We went to Leatherby’s after the circus. All of us were starving and needed some good grub and yummy dessert. The place was empty, but they did have 15 people working there. The boys picked old songs from when we were young or not born yet from the Jukebox and the kids all danced.

 

It was just the best day with everyone!! We’re just so blessed to have such wonderful friends!!!

 

The Circus

We drove the car with the girls and Nate & Jackie drove the car with the boys. We bought a new Barbie movie for them so they could watch it on the way to Salt Lake.

 

We were all excited to go to the circus!!

 

We kind of missed the pre show. We only caught the end of it.

 

Brent & Mandi were directly across from us. They got free tickets from one of Brent clients….total score.

   

We had second row seats but there were adults in front of Tristan & Naomi so we had them sit in the two first row seats in front of us.

So fun!

 

These dogs were just AMAZING.

They really shot 3 people out of cannons.

My Love got the coolest shots of these two girls.

At intermission the kids went a little crazy. I love that all of our kids play really well together!!!

This group was really fun to watch!

 

I LOVE THE ELEPHANTS!!!

When I was younger you could go on elephant rides at the circus. I only remember going twice but one of those times my brother and I rode one…I will never forget how happy I was to be riding one of my favorite animal!! My other two favorite animals are The Pig and The Empire Penguin.

I love that they hold each other’s tails…so cute!!!

These two did their whole skit upside-down. They come up with the funnest things!

My Love loves the tigers actually all big cats, his favorite is the White Lynx. It makes me so happy when he gets to see them!

 

They always look so mad! Brent says they train them to do that for the effect, but in reality you could sleep with them if you wanted. Really???

The kids loved the confetti that fell from the top of the arena after the big finale.
