In Price and Mae’s ward they asked us to write 5 things on our bucket list. Here they are…
Jared
1- See the four corners of the world and go on more cruises. There is one that goes around the world in a year and that definitely is on the list of cruises to take.
2- Retire early.
3- Outlive 70 with relatively little health problems.
4- Write a book, song & screen play.
5- Be in at least 3 plays.
Lissette
1- Build all of the cabinets in a home, preferable my own home.
2- Get my Master’s for sure and maybe my PhD in something Psychology related.
3- Travel to at least 100 countries!
4- Work in a humanitarian relief organization for at least one full year.
5- Take my entire family on an African Safari.
Paris
1- Start a business that makes me a millionaire.
2- Got to Paris, France with my daddy.
3- Go on a mission.
4- Graduate from college with an Architect degree.
5- Have a family.
Tristan
1- Go to Africa.
2- Read all the scriptures and go to the Temple.
3- Travel around the world.
4- Be a fashion designer.
5- Have a real live monkey.
Esher
1- Play the Wii.
2- Play with my friends.
3- Go to Paris, France.
4- Watch Sponge Bob.
5- Help my mom.
I did not help my kids with any of these… as you can tell from Esher’s. I’m hoping he goes for a little more out of this life than some of the ones he came up with. It will be fun looking at this list 10 years from now and seeing if any have changed and to see how many we have actually accomplished, so we can add more. I can tell you already Esher basically only has one left. I’m hoping he aims a little higher in 10 years. If not we really suck as parents and should prepare ourselves to have him live with us until he’s 40. The upside is that he will at least be there to help me, #5. :-)
