Oscar Party Like No Other

This year for some reason I just really didn’t want a big Oscar Party. I was feeling a little nostalgic about life and I just really wanted to share the night with our closest friends…so we just invited the gang.

It was so fun to just sit and enjoy this amazing company of friends. Jordon pointed out that this way we at least all had places to sit.

A Gift From Jackie

Jackie is just such a thoughtful friend… I just love her!!! Today she  came over with a gift. This beautiful necklace is a representation of our three kids.

Love Our Neighborhood

Tristan has spent most of the day over at Zoe’s. Olivia is still there and the girls keep running back and forth for things. It is so cute watching them giggle all the way there and back. I love our home and the wonderful place we are so blessed to live in.

Paris Arrives

Its amazing how much one parent can love a child. I was so happy to see my baby girl home!!!

FUN STORY:

So when Paris gets home both Tristan and Esher were at Zoe’s house so Paris went over to get them. Well Zoe’s cousin Olivia was there. When Paris walked in and hugged Tristan Olivia pulled Tristan aside and asked her if Paris was adopted. Tristan laughed and said no. Olivia was still so confused and said to her “ No offense but it just looks like she is from Africa or something.” When Tristan told us what she said we just all laughed so hard. Luckily Paris is not offended by silly things like this. So then Olivia comes over while Paris is handing out gifts. Olivia asks “Oh did you just get back from a mission?” we just laugh and Paris keeps handing out things. At one point Olivia leans over to Paris and says “ It’s okay if you didn’t get me anything.” This girl had us rolling on the floor.

 

Paris brought us all such beautiful and thoughtful gifts.

We are ALL so happy she is back and once again our family is whole.

17th Anniversary Dinner

Today is our 17th wedding anniversary so we headed to 9th and 9th to one of my favorite middle eastern restaurants. My food was just incredible!! This year we are going to San Francisco for our anniversary so tonight it is just dinner. We also have to grab Paris at the airport – she is returning from her trip to Boston. Can’t wait to see our princess and hear all about her awesome trip.

Paris’ Art Work

While Paris was in Boston we had Parent Teacher Conferences. Her art teacher had her painting out in the hallway on display. She told us how impressed she was with her work. She loved it so much she took it to her class to show to her professor and peers. All of them could not believe how well she had painted. 3 years of art school finally paid off. This girl has so many incredible talents!
