How can we tell they had art today? These girls always come out of art looking something like this.
I think they forget they are working with pastels-so cute!!!
everything is nothing without you...

We love having Jared and Ryan’s Home Teaching families over for dinner-it just doesn’t happen often enough.Today only the Cox Family could come, but we had a wonderful time.
Whenever Ryan & Danielle come over they are always in charge of dessert because she makes the coolest, yummiest things. This was a peppermint brownie yumalicious dessert!

I’m so glad we left Colorado a day early or else we would have driven in this. The mountains are always so much worse than down here so I can’t imagine what we would have driven in had we left today. We woke up to about a foot of snow this morning. I was so excited to get out and shovel it. I love it because it is so beautiful, calm, and peaceful.
Esher is such a hard worker. I was not surprised to have him next to me almost the whole time.
The minute Lucy saw Sebastian she ran right over to play. Sebastian had his two loves… Snow & Lucy. They played the whole time I was outside. I love that Sebastian has his best friend right up the street. I’m sure if they weren’t both fixed they would have been husband and wife.
I really love having seasons!!!!!

We left a day early because My Love had seen rain for the next day. We bought our usual lottery ticket on our way out of town. We usually win something. I think the most we have ever won was $10. Today the lottery gods weren’t so generous-we won $1.
We had a different set of kids on our way back.
There was playing games on the itouch
Reading
Laughing
And Singing & dancing to Pork and Beans by Weezer
When we stopped for lunch, the boys were in charge of cleaning Uncle Troy’s windows-so cute!!
We made it home with no incidences, just the way we like it. We headed straight for Korean Food. The minute we got home we went to pick up Sebastian from our neighbor’s house. He was ecstatic to see us all. Our little family was together again.-yeah!!!

We started the celebration by going to see Tangled. Probably our new favorite movie!
After the movie Mae took all the kids to her house while we went to the bookstore to wait for our next movie to begin. The adults went to see Unstoppable (Terry offered to buy us our movie tickets.-Thank you, thank you Terry!) and to the Hacienda for dinner. We just love that place, it is so yummy!
Jo Ann was feeling horrible but didn’t want to miss the movie or dinner. Eric offered to buy Jared and I our dinner for our birthdays. Thanks Eric, it is even yummier when it’s free.
Here’s the handsome birthday boy turning 42.
Seriously, I am just so in love with this guy!!!!!
When we got home the kids had a performance ready for all to watch and some birthday gifts for My Love. Jared posted that performance on You Tube.
With these gift cards he bought the universal remote he has wanted for about a year now. What a fun day!!!

We got to sleep in again today-I love this place! By the time I woke up all the girls were busy busy in the kitchen. There was no room for me so I moved on to cuddling with My Love.
Before everyone showed up we played a long game of Skip-Bo. Courtney won.
My Love likes to look like a crazy scientist, but no matter what he does his handsomeness just can’t help but shine through.
When everyone showed up and things were being put together we ran downstairs to shower and change into our clean PJ’s for dinner. WE ALWAYS WEAR OUR PJ’s TO THANKSGIVING DINNER!
T-rex and Ash had to wear their new found dresses to dinner.
Dinner was just amazing! Price got a new BBQ that uses some kind of pellets. The turkey was super yumalicious!
This was everyone at dinner.
Since I didn’t help with dinner at all I volunteered to do the cleanup, so there you have it, that was my one and only contribution (besides eating) to Thanksgiving dinner. After dinner we watched Prince Of Persia. Such a great movie!!!
Jo Ann was so sad we didn’t go around the table to say what we were thankful for.
Esher- He is thankful for all the Indians that helped the first settlers not starve and die.
Tristan-She is thankful for her mom.
Paris-Thankful for Sebastian
Me-I am thankful every single day for my wonderful husband, children and friends. I am also thankful for the love, kindness & thoughtfulness that our Heavenly Father shows us whether we see it or not.
My Love-Is thankful that his family is healthy, strong and safe and that we have a roof over our heads that we can actually afford.
