As usual The Kendell's dominated. Okay Russ did the worst he has ever done and he watched every film but one. Next year he is going back to only seeing less than half, he does much better that way. Still Christianae and Ashlan won for the family. Our biggest loser was Matt.

The Amazing Race started last week and we had our usual dinner party. Paris, Aubree and Danielle made our dessert: Cookies in the shape of different countries around the world and brownies with AR (Amazing Race) on them.

We woke up to about 6 inches of snow the morning after we arrived. What extremes from tropical to artic.
It was funny leaving on a full moon because we were married on a full moon. We travelled the whole day starting at 4am and ending in our beautiful hotel room at 6:30pm.
We walked in to beautiful rose peddles scattered all over the room and our bed. It was so romantically beautiful.
We had the most amazing gift of time for the next 7 days. This place was just gorgeous!!! It was the first time in 15years that we had been to a beach getaway by ourselves since our honeymoon on Boracay. I forgot how magical it was… the warm weather,soothing sounds of the ocean, and time, time to do anything or nothing!!!
As we all know, food is the main part of all of our trips. We were so surprised at how good all of the food was. We had a budget of $100 a day and some days we didn’t even spend that. Everyone said we would easily spend at least $1300 on food for the week and we spent $685… I was so proud of us!!

In town we found this phenomenal seafood restaurant…it was a tip from a local, always the best way to go!!
I loved all the “larger than life” objects around the resort.

On the day of our actual anniversary (the 22nd) they brought in more flowers and cleaned our room perfectly.
It was the BEST!!!!!
Now they wanted Tristan in a Pillow Pet commercial. She was so good and looked absolutely adorable!
They filmed her jumping on this bed and playing with the pets-she was just so very very good and natural about it all. Can’t wait to see it on TV!

My Love always brings the kids a giant chocolate kiss and a balloon. Jared said that when he was walking towards Paris’ class a few kids saw him and said “That’s for Paris right!” When he entered the classroom one kids said “He does this every year.” They all look forward to it!
Esher loved his SpongeBob Balloon.
When Jared started walking down Tristan’s hallway he noticed a bunch of kids at the end of it getting ready to line up. He couldn’t see her but heard her yell “DADDY!” She said that she knew it was him the minute she saw the balloon.
Paris’ Party. I’m the room mom and I feel sorry for these kids I just don’t have any good ideas. We did a carnival theme and this game was stack the hearts in one minute.
I missed most of Esher’s party but got a good picture of him decorating a card.
We also got a pictures of the love of his kindergarten life, Kora. She is moving to Texas tomorrow and Esher has vowed to find her one day when he is older so he can marry her.
We missed Tristan’s party. One day I hope to be much more organized and have time to travel all the way to her school for a party.
My wonderful love bought me my very favorite chocolate covered strawberries.
While my love was out being the cutest cupid ever his cookie bouquet was delivered to his office. Dusty told him that if he hadn’t of come when he did he was going to steal one instead of asking him for it. Dusty took a bite of one before my love got a chance to take a picture.
At home the kids exchanged gifts with us. Paris made this cool tree heart with loving messages on each heart.
She made me an “L” with candy around it and daddy a “J”

My Love usually gives the girls a piece of jewelry and takes us to the ballet but this years we could only afford shirts from their favorite TV show… Cake Boss. They loved them!!!
It was really a fun night!!!
