Daddy’s Home For Good!

We are all so excited that this is daddy’s final business trip for the year-yeah!!!!!

The kids ran out the instant they heard the garage door open. They didn’t even give daddy a chance to get out of the car.

It was so funny because the first thing Esher asked daddy to do was fix the sound on his computer. I guess he knows what daddy’s good at. And just like that it worked. We love daddy’s talents!!!

Paris showed him his cake.

And of course Paris saved daddy some of the batter, his favorite!!!

Tristan had to show him her “popcorn” plant.

All the kids made “I love you” cards for him.

Then they all got small gifts from daddy.

Esher tried his hardest to keep his eyes closed but he couldn’t help but peek every now and then.

He ran to get his M&M car to fill it up with Skittles and M&M’s.

Tristan and Paris really wanted new earrings and that’s exactly what daddy brought them.

These are for Paris. When we took off the earring she has on now her ear started bleeding, so she is going to wait a week to try them on, but she loves them.

Tristan’s ears were fine so she switched them right away! She can’t wait for Show and Tell on Tuesday. She loved them so much I’m not kidding when I say this but the whole rest of the night all she talked about were the earrings.

The earrings are just beautiful and are real silver. I was so proud of My Love when he said he got the guy down from $20 each to $16 for both. I didn’t think he had it in him, I guess a severe pay cut will do that to anyone!!

When we were first married and travelled together he broke me from being a bargainer. I would never pay the asking price no matter if it was pennies for what I wanted. Travelling through Southeast Asia you learn how to bargain with everyone for everything!! Well, My Love started pointing out the poverty in the 3rd world countries we were traveling in and how blessed we were, so he encouraged me to try and be more generous with our money.  After his speech I couldn’t do it anymore no matter what. Even if I was being ripped off because I spoke English and had lighter skin I couldn’t bring myself to play the bargaining game anymore. Don’t tell my fellow trekking buddies that I met throughout Asia. They will hate me for hiking up the prices for all of us English speaking fair skinners. But what can I say, I am a broken girl!

The girls and us love to watch The Amazing Race together so that is exactly what we did before we all went to bed!!

For lack of a better, more experienced, and stronger photographer (our camera is dang heavy), Esher was the one who took our picture.

We all just love this guy so much!!! The world just seems so much more doable when we are all together!!!!
