Halloween

The original plan was for all of us to be family of Mummies, but I waited too long to start and it didn’t happen. So we were just going to make the kids mummies and us nothing. Paris wanted to make her own mummy costume which I told her was hard for me to do, but she insisted. Well she ended up gluing her legs together and ruining the whole thing. So she and daddy came up with a flapper zombie.

It has been many years since we have gone out trick or treating with the other Blanchard’s, but this year we did. We use to go when they lived close to our home, but when they moved to their new neighborhood we never did. It was really fun just driving the kids around in a warm car while they road in this trailer.

 

After the kids collected all their candy they had to pay their yearly “Daddy Tax”

Tony Gets His Eagle

We are so proud of Tony!! What an incredible accomplishment!!! He is such a wonderful kid with so many blessing ahead of him. We feel so privileged to know such a great kid who’s on the right path for an amazing future. Thank you for letting us be part of this!

Grandma & Grandpa visit Our Church

They went to Primary and loved watching Jared work with the kids. Today was our primary program that really turned out cute!! My Love did such a wonderful job!!!

When Tristan makes her bed she always lines up all her stuffed animals. I just love it when she does this!!!

Esher’s Birthday Party

We decided to take about 35 kids to see the magic show at the Scera Theater today. I know we are just absolutely insane, but it is so hard for me to exclude kids! We invited his entire class and our closest friends.

Paris was a doll organizing games while all of the kids showed up. We rented this giant room for $20 so they could all run around, eat pizza, have cake and open presents. It was a blast!

Avery the girl on the right is in love with Esher and has asked him to be his girlfriend about 3 times. Her mom told me that she and all her little friends talk about Esher and how nice and cute he is. Esher really likes her too. She gave him a school picture and he put it in a picture frame right next to his bed. My Love is very worried!

At the magic show two girls from our group were chosen to go on stage and Esher was too.

My Love and I kept yelling that there was a birthday boy in the front and he finally chose him. HE WAS SO CUTE ON STAGE!!!

We all had a great time!!! Well except for one kid, Hunter,  that was driving us nuts.He made a kid cry and wouldn’t calm down.  My Love almost called his parents to come get him.

He came home to play with his many new toys.

Cake Decorating Class For Paris

This year Paris is learning how to decorate cakes instead of taking art class. This was her final project. She is getting so so good!!!

I was so proud of her in her classes because she was the only kid there and she was fine with it. At first I was so worried to leave her there alone thinking she would need me, but as she showed me years ago in preschool she really is a very confident and independent girl. I love that about her!! She can be put in any situation alone and she feels fine. At her age and even sometimes now I am still nervous about things like this but not my princess. My theory is that this is exactly our job as parents to teach our kids not to need us every minute. We want them to be independent! We all still need our parents from time to time but for the most part we must find our own way and her she is showing me she can over and over again Love it and her very much!!! So when she moves to France to become a great chef I shouldn’t move with her just to make sure she is fine …right-yicks!
