Paris is the only girl to go into Young Women this year from our ward so tonight's meeting was all for Paris. It was the coolest thing. All the girls talked about Paris and how excited they were to have her join them. They even had her favorite cupcake- Red Velvet. It was such an amazing night for her and us. How I wish my grandfather had joined the church many many years ago when the missionaries came to his home in Tijuana, Mexico. Then I could have been part of a group like this and maybe had avoided many bad decisions and situations in my life. I pray with all my heart that my sweet girls gets all good things from these girls and builds her testimony to be strong enough to want to serve a mission so someone like my grandfather can hear about this amazing church from my daughter!

Aviator of the Week
MY Sweet Boy was the class Aviator for the week. He wanted it to land on the 100th day of school and he made it happen. He had to do a lot of begging and a few hugs and lots and lots of logical reasons why he should be the one.
This whole week he will be the line leader, get a special desk, have a special bath tub to read in, and be Mrs. Anderson’s special helper. He is so happy!!!
Somehow later in the year he talked her into letting him be one of the 4 kids that got to do it twice…we all know Esher is her favorite!

17 Miracles
The kids had not seen the movie with Daph’s brother Jasen as the lead character. We all loved the movie and Jasen did such a wonderful job!

Jazz Dance Performance
Daddy Daughter Date with Tristan was at a Jazz Dance performance. They loved loved loved it!!!!
I lov ehow she perfectly matches every detail of her outfit when she goes out with her daddy. She is usually in her room for 30 minutes getting herself ready and she doesn’t even wear make-up yet-so so so cute!
This is a picture of Tristan on stage dancing. They were both picked from the audience to dance.
She loves this time with her daddy!

The New Playhouse
One day my love says to me “Troy wants to know if we want to store his playhouse in our backyard.” I have always wanted to build a playhouse for the kids in the backyard but we have never really had that much extra money so I never have. This would give us an instant playhouse for free. I said “HEACK YA!!!” Troy and Daph are having to sell their house or lose it. They are going into a rental for the next few years so they can’t take it, but they didn’t want to leave it behind because the playhouse was built by Daph’s grandfather (who recently died), Skip, Abe, Troy and so many others.. This way when they get their own house again they can just come back and get it.
IT WAS PERTTY AWESOME HOW IT WAS DONE!
Early that morning Dan, Abe, My Love and Pops built the foundation while Troy, Kendrick, Skip and The Crane Guy cut it out of the tree and loaded it onto the trailer.
This is what it looked like coming down the street.
With this giant crane following close behind. The guy that owns the crane is one of Troy’s old missionary companions that has a tree trimming business. He drove down about an hour to do this for Troy. What an awesome guy he is-I feel so bad that I can’t remember his name!
Jerry Lewis, our neighbor, came over to ask if it was a shed or a really big dog house for Sebastian-so funny.
It was seriously the coolest thing to watch. Dan had measured the foundation perfectly, of course……. that guys my handyman idol.
Thank you everyone for coming together to make this happen. The kids are so so excited for their first sleepover!!!
My sweet love was there in the morning to help with the foundation but had to go work at Carpets. We were about $700 in the negative and Saturdays are his only days to help bridge our constant gap in our checking account. When he came home that night he went straight into the playhouse to check it out then all of a sudden he heard someone say “Hello” . He shined his light towards the loft and saw Aubree and Paris’ heads pop up. The two girls had been sitting in the dark for hours just talking. They were a little scared when they heard the door start to open, but were really relieved to see that it was just Daddy/Uncle Jared!!!
Thanks Troy and Daph we will truly love having it here and the kids will make great use of it …they already are!!

Breakfast In Bed
We have hardly seen my love this week so Tristan decided to surprise him this morning with breakfast in bed. He doesn’t look it, but he was super touched by her thoughtfulness and love.
He was exhausted by all the late hours he has been putting in at work for the meetings and activities. He was trying his hardest to open his eyes and smile …can you tell?

Prolook Rep Training
For 4 days they had meetings and played afterwards. My Love prepared an incredible presentation. He is such an amazing asset to that company it blows my mind!
Josh couldn’t make it to the game so they had Danny take his place.
My Love went bowling with Jaxson, and the two girls who didn’t want to go surfing. They played Halo, cards and went to lunch and dinner everyday. It was nice my love got a little pampered like the old days.

SNOW
Esher and Sebastian were so excited to finally get some real snow on the ground.
At first Esher thought he would just make a big snow ball.
As more snow fell he realized he might have enough for two or three or maybe… possibly, a SNOWMAN.
Sebastian just patiently watched.
Esher came inside to get a carrot for a nose, potatoes for eyes and a scarf. When he ran in to tell me about it Sebastian ran over to the snowman and ate his carrot nose and one of the potatoes eyes. Poor little Esher was close to tears. I told him not worry since we had more of each. He quickly lit up and ran out to fix his snowman.
This was his little masterpiece.
Paris on the other side of the yard was building her very own igloo.
Esher went over to help after he finished his snowman.
