Colorado Field Trip

There is a huge blizzard  coming through town on Wednesday, the day we originally planned on leaving, so we decided at 7pm Monday night to leave Tuesday at about 6am. We caravanned with Troy & Daph so we swapped kids. This was such a cute picture of the girls watching a movie and holding hands.

We made it to Colorado in record time-8 hours. We stopped in Parker to have lunch with part of the family. It so good to see everyone and the food was tasty!!!

We were not going to go because we are saving money for Christmas and a possible 15th wedding anniversary trip. When Jo Ann and Gary found out that it was money holding us back they kindly offered us gas money. Our car takes a lot of gas so that is always our biggest expense. With that taken care of, it would just take a couple hundred dollars to go, and a couple hundred we could do. So we got to be with the family thanks to Gary and Jo Ann-it was so FUN!!!!

Paris missed her Reflection’s Award Ceremony but she wanted this more.

Jo Ann was so excited to find out who won Dancing With the Stars. We don’t really follow the show but our kids have watched it when they go to grandma’s house. Price and Mae don’t watch it either. Doesn’t it always happen like this…they showed an older woman yelling at the camera in just her bra, they showed some dancers in very scandalous outfits, and one of the older male stars was running topless to the studio and danced without a shirt jiggling all the way. Mae had this look on her face for most of the show. Chris kept asking “What are we watching??” And My love and I just kept laughing.
