The Drive To Colorado

Everyone met at our house at about 6am. We shifted kids all around and headed out

We got the older girls on the first leg of the trip.

The roads were a little scary at first but quickly cleared up to give us the most gorgeous drive.

   

We stopped at the Mc Donald’s in Fruita, Colorado. The kids were so happy to be out of the cars.

On the second leg of the trip it worked out that Troy and Daph didn’t have any kids. We didn’t mind it at all-the kids in our car were great.

They were probably all so good because all of them, but Ash fell asleep about 1 hour into it. They all woke up about 30 minutes outside of Elizabeth, Colorado. Ash had to be super quiet so she wouldn’t wake up the rest of the kids so it was like not having any kids at all.

 

My Love and I listened to the comedy station. One guy had me crying because he was so funny!!

We made it all the way in 8 hours and 34 minutes.
