We left about 8 this morning with Gary and Jo Ann to start our 3 day family reunion in Glenwood Springs.
Sebastian apparently had no plans to stay behind because he instantly jumped in the car and tried to avoid eye contact in hopes that no one would notice him taking up a seat.
It was really the best trip there and Sebastian did very well in the car-we only had to stop twice for him.
We told Troy and Daph to trade us 2 kids for 1 of ours so they would have more room in their smaller car. Grandma Jo and Papa took the girls and we took the boys. I’m so so glad we did!
About 3 hours into the trip Esher started yelling that he had lost his tooth. If he had been in grandma’s car we would have missed it. In the picture above he has all his teeth and then bam we see this…
He was chewing on his Skittles when all of a sudden he felt something super hard in the roof of his mouth. He pulled out the Skittle to find his front tooth stuck in it.
This is tooth number 3 for my handsome boy. I love that Grandpa always travels with his walkie-talkies so we radioed in Esher’s story.
When we arrived in Glenwood we all met at a yummy place called Rib City.
It was so hot we didn’t want to leave Sebastian in the car. Rali really wanted to pet him but was still nervous about him. Sebastian being the awesome dog that he is just patiently sat there and even let her ride him for one second.
We came to find out days later that this was totally illegal in Glenwood, but we tied Sebastian outside the restaurant in the shade.
Soon after Malcolm arrived.
This place was just delicious!
