Today I had the Sharing Time in Primary so I studied up on the crucifixion of Christ. I had 8 kids pretend they were Peter, John, Mary Magdalene,Thomas and a few others to tell us what happened in their own words the day Christ was crucified and resurrected. it turned out perfect and the spirit was so strong I loved it. My best Sharing Time ever.
We had a small Ester Egg Hunt at our house before we went to grandma’s.
Sebastian watched carefully as My Love hid each egg. There is a funny story of another dog doing the same thing. My Love had a dog named Sunny and one Easter she did the same thing Sebastian did today. She walked around the yard with Gary while he hid all the egg. These were real eggs not plastic ones filled with candy like ours. When Pops went inside to tell the boy they could come out to look for eggs Sunny had gone back to every hiding spot and eaten all of the eggs. How My Love misses his dog Sunny-she was a very good dog despite this incident.!
My handsome and beautiful bunch!
Time for the Easter baskets.
Sebastian got a new toy.
I haven’t figured out yet if we save money on creating our own baskets but at least I know they will love everything in them.
Sebastian loved his new toy.
After the baskets they headed for their egg hunt. They each had to find 2 eggs.
Sebastian was such a big help, he kept sniffing the egg hidden in the trampoline until Tristan ran over to find it.
Grandma Jo and Pops had the most amazing Lamb for dinner.
Tristan wasn’t feeling very well so she rested until it was time to eat and find more eggs.
We really love going to grandma and grandpa’s house…. they are just so much fun!!!
Grandpa went over the story of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. All the kids got a beautiful picture of Christ in a small frame.
It was a wonderful way to celebrate Easter!
