Gary and Jo Ann took the kids for the weekend and we have lots of movies to see before The Oscars. We went to our favorite independent film theater and watched about 4 movies. This will be the first year we have ever seen all of the films up for best picture.
Next to our favorite theatre there have been many restaurant in the past that were never very good, but we were forced to eat at between movies. There are really no other options when you only have an hour in-between movies. So when we saw that there was a new one we were surprised that there were so many people there. It has a cute name The Copper Onion and it is a French restaurant.
We just ordered a few entrees and some bread and cheese. IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!! It was like being in France all over again discovering new flavors with every bite. They even had a rude prep cook that worked right in front of us. She looked bitter the whole time.
We just can’t wait to go back.
