The girls came up with a homemade projector to use to give me birthday wishes. They made this all themselves-just brilliant. They made the film strips from plastic wrap and drew on them with markers. They had a tube for a flash light. It really worked. We were so VERY impressed!!!

My Love did a weekend worth of work on Troy & Daph’s computer in exchange for taking our kids for my whole birthday weekend. We were so excited!!!
We started by going to The Apple store to fix Troy’s iphone he ruined by accidently setting it on a table that had a tiny bit of oil on it. I tried to get this itouch off it’s stand so I could play Angry Birds but it wouldn’t come out. So, I finally just flipped it on it’s side. I’m sure I looked super dorky. My Love took a picture of my dorkiness.
We saw Catfish, the movie Eric recommended.
Had dessert at our favorite place, The Copper Onion.
Went home to watch a couple shows.
Woke up the next day to breakfast at The Cracker Barrel and a movie-Red. It was so very very funny!
That night we met The Fox’s, Lloyd’s, and Trajillo’s for dinner at TGIF’s and our very first Salt Lake Real Game.
We had never even been to the stadium. It is beautiful!! It was a very exciting game, but in the end they tied and Salt Lake needed to win by 2 points in order to make it to the next round. We were all so sad.
We ended up siting right next to Robin’s brother who we went to see Jonsi with just a couple weeks before.
We are for sure coming back next season, with the kids they would love it!
After the game we went to see The Town-love it!! It was awesome not having to be home at a set time. Every couple needs weekends like this, when they can just hang out together, with no worries, at their best!
During the weekend Troy would send us updates on the kids. We love that he does this! They went biking, camping (not over night), and to Salt Lake for The Spoken Word. Troy and Daph make a great Uncle and Aunt.
We didn't get the kids until Sunday at 7pm. All Troy and Daph talked about was how picky of an eater my son is. Yes, I do admit he is very picky but he has about 10 things he will eat over and over again so he doesn’t seem hard to me at all. It sounded like he starved all weekend. So, we have finally found someone pickier than Aubree.
I loved my birthday weekend!!! Paris was sad I didn’t want to spend it with them. That wasn’t it at all. It was just that I really wanted to spend it only with My Awesome Sweet Love -one day she will understand!
This was the theme for Reflections this year. Paris took these pictures of a bee and it’s hive. Our friend Heather has bees and chickens in her backyard so it was easy to get these pictures. Paris ended up winning a certificate in her category.
Did you know that honey is the only thing on Earth that you can survive off of 100%? It has water,minerals, and protein. THAT’S INCREDIBLE!!!
These are the pears that have been sitting on my table for weeks-like about 5 weeks or so. I want my table back and they are getting soft so it is time to can them!
My wonderful neighbor and friend Jannette had everything for us to can all these pears. I have never done something so domestically Mormon in my life. I loved it! I’m just sad about all the years (8) that our wonderful tree has produced these delicious pears and no one has eaten them. They would just rot on the ground-HOW SAD!!

Tristan was my cute little helper that helped A TON!I knew of all the kids she would be the one to stick to it until the end. I couldn’t wait ‘til she got home from school!
In between preschool and tending to the kids Janette was awesome!!! She is such a wonderful friend!
We ended up with 70 jars of pears from our one little tree. I was very impressed. Next year I am growing tomatoes so I can do both tomatoes and pears!
Tonight Gary & Jo Ann are babysitting our kids while we go to see Sufjan Steven perform up in Salk Lake. My Cute Love has been dying to see him in concert. He convinced Price& Garrett to go to it tomorrow in Denver. We found out later that it was the most expensive concert Price has ever been to. Garrett’s friends where suppose to pay Price back for all their tickets, but they never did. So, he paid $23 which is very reasonable for a concert nowadays but his was times 6 plus fees. I really love his music-Illinois is my favorite album-it’s brilliant!
We went to Tepanyaki for dinner. We haven’t been there forever. The kids love this place but it cost $100 every time we take them. It was nice to spend $50. I miss Jared making 20% more than he does now!!!
The concert was mostly his most recent stuff which I only like half of, but he did play some of his older stuff which I LOVE LOVE LOVE! We had incredible seats, 3rd row center.
It was packed with college students. Yes, we will be those old gray haired people in their 80’s going to young college student concerts thanks to My Love! For now we blend in a little better, not much, but a little.
I love being married to him and all the wonderful things we get to do together!!!!
Our car wont show movies on the front screen unless you have the emergency brake on. Tonight The World Series is on so My Love came up with this. He set his IPhone up to watch it while he drove.
