Abravanel Hall

The girls have been in choir all year long. It was not always easy being at school by 7:30, but they really did enjoy it. Tristan I think more than Paris. Paris always had a much harder time getting up-funny I always thought it would be Tristan since she likes to sleep in the longest, but no it is Paris.

It was very windy that day, so we were freezing walking in.

Tristan loved this glass sculpture that was out in the lobby.

The girls did a wonderful job, but I have to admit it I wanted to leave right after. I guess if it’s not your kid singing it is super boring, and it was!!!

I was one of the chaperones so there was no way I could leave early. Gary and Jo Ann were nice enough to come up with Jared to watch them perform.

We found out the next day that someone had slashed 3 of our tires and they had done it to many of the people in our same parking lot-I have to admit it, I did wish them all a horrible life. I’m very grateful the Lord protected us all the way home, we could have been in a horrible accident with 3 vulnerable tires!!!

Field Trip With Daddy

My Love has an extremely hard job with many many hours of work each day. He works so many hours I feel like he is home early when he arrives at 6:30. My neighbor Janette thinks I’m crazy to call that early, but unfortunately  in our life it is. But there are some benefits he could never get in another company-my favorite is taking time off in the middle of the day for field trips. I have only been on one field trip with our kids because My Love was out of town, all of the rest have been with  him. The kids just love it! My parents never had the chance to go on a field trip with me-I know I would have loved it if they had. Our kids are so blessed  to have the memory of their daddy going with them on almost all of them.

This time it was The Hogle Zoo with Tristan. She curled her hair the night before and picked out her outfit before she went to bed. She was so excited, as you can tell from all her smiling pictures.

My Love’s group was Eden, Samuel, Zach and The Beautiful Tristan with her Panda purse she bought with her own money at the zoo.

   

My Love forgot to take a picture of them together at the zoo, so it was a good thing I took one of them before they left in the morning.

 

I hope our kids always realized what a wonderful daddy they have been blessed with!!!!

Mandy’s Baby Shower

It was so fun going to Mandy’s Baby Shower with Terri and Jackie. The food was just amazing! When we first walked in we each got a number on a card and I noticed Jackie’s number was 22 and mine was 21.I tried tricking her and telling her she accidently picked up my number, but quickly confessed my lie.  I knew she would win something since that is the luckiest number ever…and sure enough she did.

 

Okay so Jackie is always looking up creative people’s blogs and telling me all about them. We sometimes try out the things we see but not always…there are some seriously talented people out there!! Jackie is much better at this than I am. She has done some incredible things to her home from things she sees on blogs that I would quickly walk away from.

When she showed me this little project I knew we could do it. I basically just helped her role the diapers and hold them together while she glued everything on so I give all the credit to Jackie! The lady on line was selling these for $70-$100. We did it for $40. I love the way it turned out!!! I love to give diapers because it’s the one thing you know they will use not matter what. I actually wanted a diaper shower for the next baby we had, but we stopped one shy of my diaper shower.

It was the cutest gift!!!
