A Wonderful Sunday Dinner

We have been meaning for many years to have all of our neighbors over for something other than Paris, Tristan or Esher’s birthday. When the Chandlers said we should get together I jumped on the chance to invite everyone. So I told everyone that we were having dinner with the Chandlers who moved away from our neighborhood about a year ago intending for it to be kind of a reunion.  Well, Amy called me on Tuesday and said they had a huge break out of the fifth disease in here neighborhood, so she would not be attending.  We didn’t want to cancel so we had it anyway and it became the best decision ever. About 3 other families could not make it because of illnesses, but I’m happy because we just had enough room for the families that came. The Larson’s and Fischer's both brought chairs to help. The adults all ate at the table and the kids were in the living room on blankets.  It worked out great!!!

 

Our house is not very big but we love to have many people gather here!!

Mia was the official photographer of the night and I love how she caught the dad's with their children.

Janette brought the best homemade ice cream sandwiches.

We visited with some wonderful neighbors. Man he’s handsome, that’s exactly what I’m thinking!!

  

We all had a wonderful time.  We will have to make this a tradition.

Tepanyaki

We are all so sad because daddy leaves for New York tomorrow so we decided to have a special dinner on Saturday Night.  We went to our new favorite place TEPANYAKI!

WE all love it for its entertainment and not to mention the food is absolutely delicious!!!! The first time we went to it was when Dusty and Jane invited us to have dinner with them, Troy and Daph and Kuya and Myla from the Philippines.  We had never gone to the place because it looked abandoned.  Well Dusty had told Jane that we didn’t go there because it looked too dirty.  When Jane told us this we laughed so hard because dirty is not a factor in our book if the food is delicious.  Heck one of our favorite places to eat in Korea usually had cockroaches in the soy sauce, we always asked for a fresh bottle!

We have been in love with the place ever since!!! It is just a bit out of our budget so we only go for special occasion. Last time we went was right before we left for Jared’s 40th birthday present-Europe. 

So when Tristan found out we were going there she asked if we could invite Uncle Dusty.  This is actually very funny because Uncle Dusty told the kids he would give them $20 if they caught a shrimp in their mouth.  The kids went crazy, but only Paris and Ashlynn caught the shrimp.  I assume Tristan wanted a second chance at $20 bucks!!!! That girl is so funny!!!

The kids were so cute while we waited for the chef. Tristan and Esher were pretending they were super strong and could split their chopsticks in two.  FUNNY!!

Then they disappeared and we couldn’t find them anywhere. Where could they be????

The Chef arrived…..we love this part!!!!

He dropped this egg shell, and later dropped the rice out of the bowl, so Esher turned to daddy and said “Hey Dad he’s not very good, he keeps dropping stuff!”  Now 8 months ago this would be no problem but his speech is getting better so I’m afraid the chef understood him because I saw him giggled to himself right after Esher said this. I think I better teach him how to whisper!

The kids don’t take their eyes off to chef… it’s so cute!!!!  There was another couple next to Paris who had never been here before and she kept telling them what was coming, hopefully they didn’t think she was annoying!

Next it was time to try and catch the shrimp. It hit Esher right in the neck. The Chef started way to fast and I didn't get a picture of Paris, Daddy, or Tristan…

We love coming here. If it didn’t cost $100 each time, we would come more often!!

Tristan started doing my hair after she finished all her shrimp, that’s all the girl loves here. Paris goes back and forth between shrimp and steak. Esher loves it all. Tristan said she was going to make me look pretty. Jared says she would have been perfect in the 80’s because her version of pretty is a pony on the side with your head tilted just slightly.

finally she gave up after 8 pictures she took of me and did it with me so I could copy her. I just didn’t tilt enough I guess. She’s our little cinematography girl!!

Super fun night….. we are just sooooooo BLESSSED!!!!

At The Carwash

My beautiful love who barely has any time to breath has had the messiest car known to man. Can you imagine if it was any bigger, some people might confuse it for a dump truck. So Paris being the daddy’s girl that she is drove out her car so she could also wash it next to daddy.

         SO SUPER STINKIN’ CUTE!!!!!!

Friday Night Date Night

It is Terri and Silver’s turn to take all of the Friday Friends (Jackie calls us this).  They just joined our free babysitting group and they got off easy.  Jackie had her wisdom teeth pulled so they didn’t go out, so they had –5 kids.  It’s probably for the best so we get them hooked on the free nights so they wont be able to quit. Okay I think I sound like a drug dealer pushing free drugs to get a new client. 

We had a calm night.  Paris was at a photo shoot until almost 6 so we didn’t have the option of a movie and dinner so we picked take out and the Jazz vs. Denver game instead. I had a $5 off coupon in the car so we went to Red Robin to get our favorite Chicken Mushroom Burger. 

We came back to our room, I LOVE HAVING A TV IN OUR ROOM , thank you Grandma Dodge!! The Jazz killed the Nuggets in the second half. I told Jared they must be playing the clones since the originals were doing terrible the first half.

You know it really doesn’t matter what My Wonderful Love and I do I always have the best time just being near him, everything else is just icing on the best cake ever!!!!!!!  OKAY, Maybe I should say cake on the best icing ever since I love the icing more than the cake, that’s really what makes the cake crappy or amazing:-)!!!! AND I HAVE TO TELL YOU I’M ALWAYS HAVING THE MOST AMAZING CAKE EVER WHEN MY LOVE IS NEAR ME!!!!!!!!

That’s probably why I keep gaining weight?!?!?!

  

Today is a Little Warm, Lets Go Out and Play

Today it is about 50 degrees and a bit windy, but the kids really wanted to play outside! We had Abraham, Naomi, and Maya over to play. 

   

The very next day a snow storm came in and changed our yard to white.  I love the way the snow looks on the trees.  As I was looking out the window I saw the horses playing with each other, I just had to take a picture.  I love that this is my view from our kitchen and bedroom windows.
