Winder Farms

I love my friend Kelly and her family but we never get to see them enough. I have been dying to hang out so we went up to visit them today. I just love chatting with her. We took all the kids to Winder Farms for some ice cream. I love that she has a big enough van to fit us all.

As we drove up the long driveway to the farm I noticed that one of the houses had the name Kay Winder. Kelly said that the houses along the driveway were all the owners homes. All the homes were very modest-how refreshing to have a family own a successful  business and live that way. I guess I’m just not use to seeing that in people.

Love all these old bottles- one was from 1920.

Their ice cream is just super yummy and cheap!

Veteran’s Pool

Jackie invited us to the pool today and we all gladly went. I only have these few pictures because they have a new policy that you can’t take pictures in the park. Her friend Misty was also there who is very funny and I like very much-it was a wonderful day!!!

I Scream For Ice Cream

So Paris bought an ice cream maker ($5) from my friend Terri’s garage sale and has asked every day since if she can sell ice cream. Today was the day since Aubree had a sleepover and they are business partners-so cute! Well, Ashlynn was over too, so she and Tristan sold brownies and Kool-Aid.

I can not tell you how much I love our neighborhood and the wonderful neighbors around us. They all came out to support our kids in this little venture. Even one of our neighbors who is extremely frugal (only spend $1.89 for lunch) and diabetic came out to buy a 4oz glass of Kool-Aid for a $1.

Keith, our wonderful UPS man even stopped by for a few minutes to chat with the kids and have a drink. Oh, and of course, to give Sebastian a bone- Sebastian loves him! Sebastian helped for a while, but most of the time stayed under the table to keep cool, and also hoping something would drop from the table.

Homemade Ice Cream

Paris finally had her chance to use her ice cream maker. She did an amazing job and we were all surprised at how great it tasted!

I love Paris’ desire to cook. She is such a talented girl it blows my mind. I love that she will try anything no matter how difficult it may be-in her mind she can do it all. I love that in her!!!!

That Sebastian

As we were driving around today Paris noticed how Sebastian was sitting while he looked out the window. It was so funny we had to take a picture. He was just Mr. Chill

Rainy Day & The World Cup

We don’t have enough lazy rainy Saturdays in our lives, so it was really nice to have one! We all cuddled up and listened to the rain while we watched The World Cup- US vs. UK

I do wish it rained a little more here!

After they played in the rain they also came in and watched the game with us. We all had In-N-Out Burgers in front of the game. I LOVE our family!!!

Picnic In The Park

There is an amazing park right next to Esher’s tennis lessons. The kids really wanted to do a picnic so we did.

Janette is at girls camp so Jeff has been taking the kids and I show up later, after my girls are out of their lesson and pick them up so he can go to work. It has worked out wonderfully. Before he left he played with the kids for a bit. I love good dads!!!!

Speaking of good dads, my love met us for our little picnic. The kids had no idea he was coming so they were very excited to see him.

Siena’s Sleepover

Siena had her very first sleep over at our house. She had given Paris a tie dye kit so they all found white shirts to dye.
