The kids are still with Gary and Jo Ann so we had breakfast at our favorite place…. The Cracker Barrel.

Sleepover at Grandma and Papa’s
All the girls had a sleepover this weekend. We handed Gary and Jo Ann our camera and asked them to take some pictures. These are the things they did.
Tristan was The Aviator of the Week so she got these cool sunglasses and got to sit in a special desk. This is what she was wearing when we dropped her off so I had to post it.
My Love has been working on Troy and Daph’s computer so as a favor to him for doing all this work they took Esher over night so we had another wonderful week-end together with no kids.

Reflections
Paris, Tristan and Daddy went to see if Paris’ Whale won an award at the district level. She didn’t win but got an award and ribbon. We are so proud of her!!!

Wednesdays
Paris has art on Wednesdays so we usually take Sebastian to the park that day after we pick up Esher. I love that it is so cold now because no one is usually at the park so, he gets to run around in bliss.
Tristan is so great because she picks up Esher for me after school. Today he made this hat and beautiful picture.

T-Rex’s Party At School
I took cupcakes to Tristan’s school today to celebrate her birthday. These cupcakes are so good. They are from Target and I love how they make them look like a cake.
Everyone got in a circle and told Tristan what they liked about her. Mrs. Anderson likes how much Tristan loves Sebastian, that she is always smiling and that she wants to be a Fashion Designer someday.
She got to stand on a table while everyone sang “Happy Birthday”…. I thought this was so cool!!
She passed out her cupcakes.
I just love this girl!!

FHE
Earlier that day we had friends (Brook and TJ) over to play. I just love that they like Esher gift so much.
Esher was in charge of Family Home Evening today. He did a wonderful lesson about Jonah and The Whale. Paris did our activity which was to make tithing bags so we always know how much tithing to pay. We made them out of a garbage bag .
That night Tristan fell asleep in her hat so she wouldn’t forget to wear it to school. This girl is so cute!!!

Our Wonderful Friends The Tippets
We were so excited when we Kelly called to tell us they were coming down to Provo for a baptism. That meant that we got to see them and spend the whole day with them. My Love again had to go to work but at least he got to spend part of the day with us-yeah!!!! We just love the Tippets.I especially love talking about movies and the scriptures with them, well, when Tony forgets his newspaper. I was able to share some of my new found biblical knowledge with them. I am so glad we have The Scriptures available to us today and I am blessed to have the time a few moments a week to learn more and more about our Heavenly Father and Jesus!!!
T-Rex and her new mug..she uses it for all her drinks!!!!
So Tony asked how we liked Korean the day before. He asked because for the last 13 years we always have Korean on New Year’s Day. This year we completely spaced it. That sucks!!!! This coming year we can’t forget!!!
We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends all around us!!!!

New Year’s Day
Unfortunately, My Love had to work today (seriously, what a terrible way to start the new year!)so the kids and I spent the day together. I called my awesome friend Jackie who I never get to spend enough time with to join us at the movies for Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. We had to go back because the one we wanted to see was sold out…I’m so glad we did! Grandma Jo and Pops were going to join us, but since it was sold out they went to buy some new chairs. They had taken Tristan on her birthday lunch after she had gone shopping with daddy to spend the $50 she got from Grandma Maria. She ended up with this monkey and mug.
We all went to Jackie’s house to hang out while we waited for the next movie to begin. I love just sitting and talking to Jackie she is so very inspiring and fun to be with!!! We were about the 3rd family in line so we got the seats we wanted. It was sold out once again. We all absolutely loved it, now we have to go back with daddy.Thank goodness it’s at the dollar theater.
We just love our friends and we were happy we got to spend our first day of the year with them!!!
