Another Lost Tooth

Esher is just losing teeth every few weeks it seem like. Today he lost his tooth at school.Mrs. Anderson, the greatest tooth puller in town, took out his dangling tooth. She puts the teeth in a special little box so Tristan and Esher decided draw a picture and write a note to the tooth fairy.

They glued the box  from Mrs. Anderson to the picture with the tooth inside-very clever.

Wrote this cute note.

And made sure there was a zip lock bag for the money to go into.

                     ADORABLE!!!!

The tooth fairy was so impressed she gave him $5 instead of $2. I suspect that from now on they will all begin to write notes and draw pictures with every tooth.

The Grandma

The grandma doesn’t come to the states very often, but when she does she always comes over to make rice for Paris and to see her boy Esher. She just loves our kids especially that boy. I love it when she comes because we get to catch up on everyone's life and eat some amazing dish she whips up for dinner. Maria gets to see her old friends in the neighborhood while Paris and Tristan tag along-they love being with Maria!!!

We had a wonderful visit, great food, and Paris’ favorite rice. I just wish she would move back-we miss her!!!!!

Spain-Tristan’s Presentation

Tristan had to do a report on a country where her ancestors came from. She decided to do Spain since her great-grandfather’s line goes back to Barcelona, Spain. I think she chose it because of the poofy traditional dresses they wear.  She read the entire report in Spanish. Daddy was her helper. In her report she said that she is going to go there with her dad when she turns 15.

She is doing such a wonderful job learning Spanish and is constantly surprising me with the things she knows.

Isabel did her report on India and gave Tristan a gem sticker to wear on her forehead. In any culture she is gorgeous!

We are so proud of our Spanish speaking princess.

Cancun For Thanksgiving

On the 17th of November we worked our way to LAX for my family’s reunion. We were all, except for my brother Ozzy in Chicago, spending a week in Cancun at the all inclusive The Moon Palace. We had the best time. I am making a book about our trip so I am only posting a few pictures.

Our room came with a back massage, pedicure and manicure for the whole family.

We had a huge tub in our room that the kids loved taking bubble baths in.

And had a very expensive Thanksgiving dinner with our room credits. Every room came with $1500 credit that you could only use at the resort in very specific places. One of those was this $100 per person dinner. Unfortunately, it really wasn’t worth it-but they did have chocolate covered strawberries that we loved. Just from our family alone we probably had 40-60  of them and they kept bringing more out.

Everyone left 2 days earlier than we did. And we got to ride bikes and play with the kids.

It was really windy that day.

Esher was obsessed with this giant Chess Board. He was always looking for someone to paly with him.

We had a 7 hour layover in El Salvador so we went into the city.

Pictures will go here when I find them.

It was a wonderful trip. On the way home we stopped by at this diner to have some breakfast. My Love ordered this giant pancake. We were all exhausted from traveling all day and driving all night but it was all worth it! Our trip in a nut shell-book to come later.

How I wish we could afford to do this every 3 months like My Love and I did when we were living in Korea. May a little later we will!!!
