Today our Angel Paris turns 9 even though I only put 8 candles on the cake. Yes, I admit it I really LOVE the ages of my children right now and I really don’t want any of them to grow up past the now!! Paris invited a few friends from school and some of her very best friends from forever ago. While we waited for a few more people and pizza the kids all played on the trampoline.
Esher attacked them all with water.
Pizza and Daddy arrived so we ate and started the games. Paris looked up some games on the internet and came up with some really cool ones.
The first game was the Tadpole Game. They had to hold 2 cups of water and jump from lily pad to lily pad trying to keep as much water in the cups as possible. Whoever had the most won a prize.
Then we did the cold feet game. You had to transfer ice from one large bucket to a small bucket and whoever filled it up first won a prize. Oh ya, you could only use your feet!
Myla didn’t stop or complain-it was amazing how fast she filled her bucket!
It was so cold I love all of their faces!!!
Esher tried his hardest-so cute!!
Then we did the water balloon toss-hilarious!!
I love all of the stages of this toss to Paris.
Then it was time to play the sponge game, but it turned into a huge water fight instead. We didn’t care the kids were having a blast!!!
Madi and Hannah showed it almost at the end, but in enough time to get soaked.
Then it was time for the cake and ice cream.
Then the kids just played until we opened the presents.
Max’s mom made this gorgeous bag.
Inside the jewelry box Aubree made there were 3 $2 bills.
Myla made this card herself.
Myla’s gift card was scented.
Mariah got her an awesome Slip N Slide-we’re all excited to use it!!
Then they played some more.
Aunt Mae gave Paris a HUGE bottle of bubbles and money in each balloon.
it was seriously the coolest idea and she walked away with $15
She has been saving up all of her money since last year for a DSi. She is about $40 short. It helps a ton when her Grandma and Grandpa from California send $50 each year. It looks like daddy and mommy will make up the rest. This girl has been so good we just can’t help ourselves!
Our family gift to her was…
Earrings and an Eiffel Tour Earring Holder
It was one of our most low cost parties. All prizes and games came from the dollar store. I must admit it was a lot more fun than I thought!!!!
HAPPY 9TH BIRTHDAY PRINCESS!!!!!
