Soccer Party

Paris and Aubree’s coaches this year had an end of the season soccer party. We hung out while they played.

Aubree and Paris received an award for being the biggest talkers. Aubree was declared slightly more talkative than Paris.

 

Tristan, Esher rand Sebastian all played on the playground.

Esher was afraid to go all the way across on the monkey bars so Tristan helped him. She is such a great big sister!

The kids had a lot of fun.  Sebastian on the other hand got in big trouble for licking some little kid’s ice cream. Jared ran over to apologize and offer him a juice box. He was on the leash the rest of the time.

It’s Time Again-Yeah!!!

The Amazing Race is starting up again so we had our big dinner for the season premier. We had to wait 2 extra weeks which means two episodes tonight and we are all excited. This time we got Dan and Cayce to join us. We love that Ryan and Danielle & Gary and Jo Ann are our Amazing Race Buddies! It was probably one of the best season openers ever! Oh ya, and my Empanadas turned out awesome!!

Paris’ friends just happen to be here so they watched it with us and loved it!

We all went through and cast our votes for the winners. At the end of the season we come back together for another dinner and we watch the last episode together. We see who voted the most people off in the right order and they win a prize. I have won for the last 2 years so we have not gotten any prizes. I have a feeling I will not win this year so I have to come up with a real prize this time. the thing I love about it is how much the kids love it and they get to see different places around the world in the process.

Have I mentioned how much I love having a theater-I love it!

Surprise Birthday Party

Jo Ann turned 70 years old today and we had a surprise party for her. We arranged for all of her kids and older grandkids to fly or drive into town and meet us at our favorite place in Salt Lake, The Copper Onion. She was completely shocked. We had also told everyone not to call her to wish her a happy birthday- I know that was kind of mean, but fun. It was just wonderful how everyone made it work to be together for her birthday which is exactly what we wanted for her to have.

 

My love was very disappointed with his steak, but I loved my Beef Stroganoff. After dinner we all took them bowling. Joe knows the guy who owns Fat Cats and got us all in to bowl for free-shoes and all. We bowled two games. Jo Ann loved it. She couldn’t remember the last time she went bowling. Joe had the bumpers put up for her, but she had only hit them once,so she asked to have them removed. For some reason with the bumpers down she could bowl as well as before.

Everyone had a really good time!

 

Joe loves Oraelia. He is always wanting to hold her and making sure she is okay-it’s really kind of cute.

My Love had a song dedicated to Jo Ann on the radio. It was “Staying Alive” When he told me that, I started laughing so hard I was in tears. We waited for it to come on and when it started playing Jo Ann started rocking out.

 

My Love is just so cute and clever. He is just such a fun person to be around! It was the perfect song for a 70th birthday. Everything worked out perfectly and Jo Ann had a very wonderful and memorable birthday.
