I love how much this boy loves me!! He walked all the way from Amelia Earhart Elementary with this block of ice just to show it to me. I don’t know how he did it. He found it at the bottom of the slide and it hasn’t even snowed yet.

The Twins Turn 13
I just can’t believe they are actually 13 now. Hannah and Josiah celebrated their 13th birthday with the most amazing party ever! They had a giant carnival like party with the coolest basketball air blow-up thing, soccer games, football games, and the actual Michigan game on 2 big screen TV’s and one giant projector.
They each had their own cake and they showed the most beautiful slide of the twins growing up. It seriously brought tears to my eye. We love them!!!
Everyone was into the last 5 minutes of the game. Michigan could have won but in the end they lost. It was terrible-good thing we had lots of pizza, cake, music, games and prizes. Jackie and her mom made the coolest bags for each individual kid so they could put all their candy and prizes in them. I love that Jackie thinks of everything-she’s amazing like that!!
Happy Birthday Twins We Love you!!!!

Space Camp for Paris’ Birthday
I know you are all probably thinking “What birthday???…Isn’t her birthday in June. Yes, it is in June but our sweet girl couldn’t make up her mind as to where she wanted to go an d by the time she did decide the Furlough was in full swing so there was absolutely no money. This was our first non furlough check so we figured we better do it now or we wouldn’t do it at all.
These are the cute invitations she came up with for her party. So cute!!!
They all arrived.
Sebastian was so happy to have everyone there.
We drove all the kids to Lindon and they hardly talked. Not everyone knew each other so the ride there was a little weird to me. The kids got really excited when we arrived.
All we had to do was pay $160 (ouch- it did hurt a bit!!) for 3 hours and that was it. We couldn’t believe how easy this party was. They all got ready for the mission on the Ship Magellan.
This was the “ship’s” interior
Briefing outside the room and inside a different ship.
They all look so scary here.
My Love and I went out to play for 3 hours.
Okay, when we picked them up they couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the whole thing was. They were all best friends by the end and just loved every minute of it!
We came home to pizza, presents, cake, a movie, and a game o f hide and seek in the dark. It was a long party but the kids really loved it!
What a bunch of goofballs! I love Paris’ friends!!
Then it was time for Paris’ favorite movie- Despicable ME
My Love and I even sat and watched it with them-We love this movie too, it’s hilarious!
We had all kinds of sugary snacks and their favorite Takis as chips.
Then they played hide and seek in the dark until each of their parents showed up. This was seriously the funnest party ever!!!!!
Happy 11 & 1/2 Birthday Princess!!

My Birthday Dinner
Jo Ann and Gary had a wonderful dinner for me and My Love while Paris was at Space Camp with her friends. Jo Ann had everything just perfect and it was just delicious!
I love that they are so close to us, both in distance and heart.

Halloween
The original plan was for all of us to be family of Mummies, but I waited too long to start and it didn’t happen. So we were just going to make the kids mummies and us nothing. Paris wanted to make her own mummy costume which I told her was hard for me to do, but she insisted. Well she ended up gluing her legs together and ruining the whole thing. So she and daddy came up with a flapper zombie.
It has been many years since we have gone out trick or treating with the other Blanchard’s, but this year we did. We use to go when they lived close to our home, but when they moved to their new neighborhood we never did. It was really fun just driving the kids around in a warm car while they road in this trailer.
After the kids collected all their candy they had to pay their yearly “Daddy Tax”
Jared loves this tradition….the kids, not so much!
Just Kidding,
They actually don’t mind at all. This is all for the camera.
