My sister always says I plan too much, but if I left the planning to her we wouldn’t do much at all since she hates the outdoors… sand, grass, sun, wind, bugs, most animals, and people. Despite all these ”hates” she is great about coming along no matter what it is I plan. She only complains all the way there but loves it once we arrive.
Norma and her kids came with us too. This is our little safari troop for the day!

I am always worried one of our kids(Tristan) will wonder off and they won't be able to remember their phone number or where they live, so I came up with a great idea…we wrote my sister's phone number on their arms, high enough so it wouldn’t be washed off, just in case.

First thing we had to do was the tour of the 94 year old park on the double decker bus…. The top of course!
SOOOO MANY ANIMALS!!
and we didn’t even get to see them all!!!
We LOVED the pandas. They had four. A four year old, a baby and the mom…SO CUTE!!! Oh and the dad that is not allowed near the baby because he will kill it, so we didn't get to see him.
The mom… she looks so tired-I can totally sympathize!!1
This was the baby hanging upside down in this super tall tree. Yes, he has fallen before and he just gets right back up.
The big brother
And our little pandas
One of the highlights was feeding the giraffes. I was bummed because the lady gave me $15 less and I didn't notice. I could of had 3 more ice cream cones:-(.
Their tongue is about 2 feet long

We saw a couple shows.

Tristan just loves animals so she had the biggest smile the whole time!
We took a lunch/ice cream break.

Then we found the coolest playground and petting zoo.

Tristan kept trying to reach for the animals inside their “time out from people” area.
She kept running up to me every 5 minutes so I could see this “super cute” animal she found.
The kids loved the animal statues they could climb.

And the cut-outs they could peek through.
Then we jumped on the sky tram….loved it!!!

We saw the second show at the end of the day.

The kids all donated a dollar and this bird took it out of their hands and put it in the the box.
We spent a total of 9 hours at the park and still we didn't get to see everything. My Love really wants to go. He thought he had never been there until his mom said he had but he was just a tiny baby. We have to go back… it is just the coolest zoo!!!
