Have I ever mentioned that we live in the coolest neighborhood!! Janette organized this baseball game for all the kids and adults that wanted to play. After the Cascades we all went over. It really was tons of fun. There is so much more to life than a big house and in this neighborhood we have found it-The best people ever!!! There have been a few times we have thought of moving in the last 9 years but thinking of being away from all our neighbors has always brought a sick feeling to my stomach. We might be able to find a bigger better dream home somewhere else, but I know we will never ever find better neighbors!!!

Cascade Springs
I have always wanted to go to these springs and we finally did on Labor Day. This is probably the very first Labor Day my sweet love has taken off in 10 years. IT WAS SO NICE SPENDING IT WITH HIM!!!! Sometimes being completely in love with your husband is a downer-like when you want to spend every holiday (okay, who am I fouling it’s actually every second) with him but he has to work!
The drive was just gorgeous!
My Love had the kids do Speak, See, and Hear no evil. We have actually been to the temple, in Japan, of the monkeys who are carved out doing this.
I just love that Esher is peaking! That boy is so funny!!!
Sebastian was so happy to be there until we found out he had to be on a leash because there were so many people and that he wasn’t allowed in the water. It was torture keeping him out and a couple times we failed!
It’s a small place but we still had fun.
Isn’t Tristan just the cutest girl?
These walking sticks are so funny. Paris found the first one and from that moment on they all wanted one. Tristan was the last one to find one, actually Esher found it for her. He walked two steps with it and said ‘Yep, Tristan that is a real walking stick!” My Love and I laughed so hard

A Year In The Making
WE have talked about going out with the Luke’s for over a year now. Terri finally made it happen. It was just the best night!!! The food at Milagros was just amazing! Terri, you picked out a great place to eat!!!
We got to hear all about the Luke’s trip to Bora Bora. Preston's job gave him a specific amount of travel money that could ONLY be used for a trip as a special bonus . HOW THE HELL CAN WE GET A JOB LIKE THAT!!??!! Rachel being the coolest girl wanted to go somewhere completely out of the ordinary, so she chose Bora Bora-how stinkin’ awesome is that!!! They had one of those rooms on stilts over the water, with room service and time alone. Okay not completely, because on the last day there, while at dinner, someone said “Rachael is that you?” Can you believe one of her old friends had just gotten there the day before?
The best part of their trip story was when it came time for the part about them swimming with the sharks. Rachel was in no way going to go in and was the last one on the boat. Somehow she talked herself into it and went in with the rest of the crazy people. The only thing between them and the sharks was a thin rope that the boat driver had laid on the water. He had given them strict instruction not to cross the rope. Like that’s going to stop a 1000lb shark with more teeth than all of us at the table put together from having one of them for lunch! Rachael made it perfectly clear that if it had came down to one of them living through it, it was going to be her and she had no problems feeding Preston to the sharks as long as it wasn’t her. They had us all laughing so hard!!! Even though we aren’t the ones out there exploring the world I’m so so happy someone we know is so we can explore it through their eyes!!!!
After dinner Rachel and Preston went to see The Help and we went to see Captain America. We had already seen The Help. We are hoping it doesn’t take us another whole year to do this again-it was such a fun fun night!

Esher Loves Ice Cream!
He could have ice cream everyday for every meal. I know most kids could but he really really could. I had to take this picture because he wedged himself between the couch and the coffee table to enjoy his treat. He looks so cute!!!

Cravings
Sometimes we just crave cookies! Paris made a batch with chocolate chips and I made one with butterscotch chips. They were both delicious!!!

I’m Ready Dad!
Every morning this week at about 7:45 Esher wakes up his daddy to let him know he is ready for school. His school doesn’t start until 8:40. He is so excited every day and wants to make sure he isn’t late. He walks around all morning long with his backpack on-he is just adorable!!!
