My sweet boy is now 6 years old.
The morning started off with breakfast with Grandma Jo & Papa. He chose Mc Donald’s. After breakfast he went to the mall to buy his Pillow Pet that he has wanted for months.
We had cupcakes in his classroom. I love Target cakes they do such a wonderful job and they are super yummy. Cakes are my weakness-I love cake!
He had Show & Tell. He brought in the Pillow Pet his grandparents bought him. He was looking for a dog, but they wouldn’t have them in until Thursday, so his second choice was a Tiger.
He went over his Spotlight pictures.
Then it was time for cupcakes and cookies. Max, a boy in his class, also has the same birthday and he brought in cookies.
He looks so handsome in his birthday crown!
When we got home he opened his present from Grandma Maria and Grandpa Lupe.
He got a check for $40. He has been saving since last year to buy a DSi, My Love found an iTouch for $150. That is cheaper than a DSi. He can watch movies on it too, listen to music, and the games are a lot cheaper. He is $50 short, but we usually get them a gift for about $50 so that will allow him to buy it. He is so excited!
At 5:30 we had a party for him at Chuck E. Cheese. We had coupons, so the party for 28 kids, 600 tokens, and 3 large pizzas was only $130. One of our cheapest parties yet. Esher loved it!
The adults all got to hang out.
My Love was the Token Guy
He kept giving Kora extra tickets-you know, since Esher’s has a crush on her.
Esher was so excited that Kora came to his party.
We had two tables for all the kids.
His Madagascar cake looked and tasted amazing!
Then it was time for presents.
Then he met Chuck
We gave the kids more tokens to play with until their parents arrived. The whole thing worked out very smoothly and we didn’t lose any kids (My fear anytime I’m in charge of other kids).
It was a wonderful party!
Daddy had his iTouch all loaded with his favorite games.
They are all growing up so fast and I just want them to freeze, just the way they are!
