BYU Volleyball

Troy and Daph invited us to the BYU final volleyball game. We had never been so we had so much fun!!

Possible Broken Finger

Today he was playing basketball with TJ when he came home with his finger swollen. He couldn’t bend it so we decided to take him to the doctor to make sure it wasn’t broken.

The doctor said it could be or not but for a sprain or break the treatment is the same… a finger brace, but he couldn’t tell there so he sent us to the hospital for an x-ray.

It turned out that it wasn’t broken so he just wore is brace for about 6 hours and was done even thought the doctor said 3-4 days. What a terrible patient he makes.

Late Night/Sleepover

Tristan had a late night with Sage and Paris had a sleepover with Averie.

Esher & Avery’s Play Date

Avery is a little girl in Esher’s 1st Grade class who is in love with him. She is always talking about him to his mom and she has been dying to have a play date with him. They hung out and talked, played the Wii, jumped on the trampoline, and kissed in the playhouse. Yes, I said kissed. So, when I told Jared that she was over to play he warned me to make sure I watched them in the play house because he was worried they would kiss. My response was a roll of the eyes because why would two 6 year old kids even think about kissing. Note to self, all kids know about kissing regardless of their age!!!

After she left Jared and I talked to him about it and told him he shouldn’t be kissing girls at his young age and he informed us that he didn’t kiss her… she kissed him! WHAT!!!

About a week later he went over to her house to play and we had another talk about kissing. Kissing was not allowed from her or him. He promised he wouldn’t kiss her or let her kiss him so I felt much better. Well, when I went to pick him up the mom sat me down to tell me what she thought of Esher.. I was kind of nervous. She told me what a great little gentleman he was. She said that the first 30 minutes he sat and talked to her about her day and how she felt about being a mom and what she liked to do. She was so impressed she told Avery that she could only date boys as polite and respectful as Esher. I was so proud of my sweet boy!!! I knew he was awesome but I didn’t know how he is awesome in every single way. Somehow,  he knows how important it wis to get the parents on your side right off the bat.

Why Is The Sky Blue?

Paris did an experiment to show how blue is the only color you can see when light shines through it and that is why our sky is blue. There is much more to this but I completely forgot what she said.

Dinner Time
