Super Bowl Sunday

This is the third year we have had a Super Bowl Party. This one was a little bigger than our other ones that just included us and 2 other couples. Always Russ And

Christianna's family since they are the reason why we started it. Danielle made this amazing cake… she is just so good!!!!! We had burgers and hot dogs with french fries along with lots of munchies!

For the first time we had a game with prizes. Everyone had to bring in their favorite candy bar, that Paris collected at the door.

Then they had to fill in their names in 5 of the squares on the grid we provided. We wrote numbers on the side that would later represent the score. We divided up the candy bars into 4 bags that would represent the prizes for each quarter. At the end of each quarter someone would win a bag full of candy. It was so much fun!!!

I just have to say how much I love having a theater in our home.  

I remember thinking how nice it would be if one day we could afford a 32 inch TV. And no we are blessed to have this monster of a screen for our theater!

We just love having our friends over…we really love and appreciate all the wonderful people in our lives.

 

The Anderson’s were new to our home. They are huge football fans so it was fun sharing the night with them.

No one sat next to Jo Ann and Gary…Not only because they kept making out the whole game but because they were rooting for the wrong team..that ended up winning!

  

These are our first and second quarter winners. Who Jared complained didn’t even watch the game.

During half time Russ and Jordon played a little football.

Our third and final winner also didn’t watch a second of the game. Yes, my sweet love was bitter!

The commercials where very cute and some even made us laugh out loud. Overall it was a wonderful time had by everyone! We can’t wait for next year!!!

Let's Dance

All the Blanchard kids did a dance clinic with a performance at the end. I forgot to put the battery back in the camera so we only got these two iphone pictures. They perfromed the cutest routines and had a great time!

RAD Kids

They have a RAD program at school that Tristan’s class took. It teaches you a few things about strangers and abductions. Tristan was so cute because everyday she would come home and teach us the things she learned in class. Onthis night we got to see it all put together.

She did an awesome job. I loved the elbow jab to the face!

We pray that she NEVER has to use anything she learned!!!!

Boo Finally Meets Sebastian!

We had the most wonderful visitors today. Mia and Richard were here from Idaho and they came to visit. No one was more excited than Sebastian. Boo was a little confused since we have never had a dog at our house when he has been here to visit so, he was a little annoyed by Sebastian. Sebastian was elated to have a friend to play with.

I am so glad we got to spend time with Mia and Richard we just love and miss them so much!!!

Chinese Acrobats

We went to this show about 3 years ago without Esher so it was fun bringing him along this time. I just can’t believe a human body can bend the way it does for the acrobats. The girls really wanted to buy a mast but they were $25 each-ouch.

We all loved the show!!

A Daddy Daughter Date

It is also the 100th day of school as well as Tristan’s turn for a Daddy Daughter Date. All she wanted for her birthday from us was to go skiing with daddy.

I picked her up early from school and she got dressed in the car. I dropped her off at My Love’s office so they could rent skis and head up the mountain. Tristan has not been skiing since last year so she was really nervous about the lift. Daddy had to hold her tight and talk to her the whole way up about how beautiful and safe it was. She made it to the top and then was afraid to fall.  Daddy told her he would not go any further unless she made herself fall a couple time to feel that it didn’t hurt. She was able to make it down the mountain by herself but it took them an hour and a half to do it. They only had a chance to go up a second time before the lift was closed. She did way better the second time at only one hour.

    

Afterwards they headed for the lodge for some yummy hot chocolate.

We found out later that Paris had told Tristan all about the time she had fallen off the lift. That explained her horrible fear of falling. Next time she can just enjoy herself now that she knows she can do it!!
